Playroom Rules Sign

I saw this idea on pinterest and I really wanted to make it for my dear friend who watches my kids and her grandson. I had all the supplies except for the little frame for the photo. I looked at many versions on pinterest, and then checked out my cricut cartridges and worked up a practice version with paper. Another friend took the adorable picture, and I absolutely love how it turned out.  I couldn't even wait for the glue to dry before I gave it to her! The most challenging part was determining the size and font for the rules... it took a while.

Four Generation Frame

This is one of my favorite projects for the summer. I realized that I had four generations of mother-daughter photos. I'm going to change out the photo of me and Susie as soon as we get some pictures at her blessing in a few weeks. Then all the babies will be wearing white dresses. I love old family photos, and I'm so excited to have these displayed. It's a great reminder of the wonderful mothers who are examples to me of the mother I want to be. I found the perfect quote and typed it up and printed it out:

"I will protect you until you are grown, and then I will let you fly free. But loving you, that is for always."

Sheet Music Frame

This idea combined a few different ideas I saw on pinterest. I saw somewhere that they took a line from a song and used colorful notes. Of course, I think "Wake Up, Little Susie" is an appropriate song for Baby Susannah's nursery! I've also seen the frame in a frame idea, so I decided to try it out. I created the sheet music myself with musical fonts and lots of patience. Then, I painted the scroll frame in a pretty coral. I used teal paper for the notes and a hole punch to cut them out, and teal fabric for the background. I hot glued the fabric to the frame back, and then hot glued the scroll frame to the fabric.

$1 frame

I've posted these before, but I wanted to add the latest one to display with these at school. Isn't she precious?!

Frame

I absolutely loved how this picture of E and his "aunts" came out, so I had to make a frame for them.
