Baby Blankets

I made two more rag blankets. One is for Baby Girl, and the other is for my sister who just had a boy last week. I love them both, but I have to admit I love the girl flannels I found for mine!

Projects

I've been in baby mode - it's been busy, especially this last week since I'm done with school. This is all going very slow because I'm moving slow (imagine that) and Cam has to work (poor guy!) and I have a little helper named E who doesn't actually help much!

Here's everything I've gotten done since finishing work last Friday:

- Car Seat Cover
- 2 Baby Blankets
- Crib Skirt
- Pillow for baby room
- 2 coats of stain on E's twin bed
- Cleaning and moving stuff off the carpet to get it cleaned
- Taping and prepping the baby room to be painted

I'll be adding pictures as I finish stuff. Some is done but I can't take pictures yet (the car seat cover is done, but the car seat is in the attic. Oops!)

Green thumb continued...

A few more things bloomed, and I got a great new hydrangea for Mother's Day. I'm curious to see if it stays pink, or if it eventually turns blue/purple like my other one.

Green thumb? No way!

I am not known for my plant skills. In fact, I can keep plants alive at school all year and then bring them home for summer and almost kill them. I have been VERY lucky with the plants I've chosen for the flower beds. Spring is amazing! Here is what has come in so far, and i still have my crepe myrtle, roses, and my all-time favorite the hydrangea left to bloom!

Finished Quilt

I've had this quilt ready to bind for over a month. I just haven't had time and I've been really sick. So, yesterday I decided to finish it. I used the binding tutorial  here and it was PERFECT. I finished it in no time and now I have one more thing done for the nursery!
