Dry Erase Countdown

I saw an idea for a Halloween countdown, and found this jack-o-lantern on one of my cricut cartridges. Perfect! It looks really cute on the mantle! And it only cost me $1 because I had everything else I needed to finish it!

Height Growth Chart

Cam had one of these growing up and wanted one for our family, but we knew that we won't be in this house forever. I saw this idea on pinterest and had to make one. I used vinyl from Pick Your Plum, my Cricut to cut the numbers, some craft stain gel, and a few coats of polyurethane to finish it off. Can't wait to watch E (and any future children) grow!

Hobbes and Halloween

I can't wait for E to be old enough to choose his own costume. I saw this on pinterest, and knew I had to make a Hobbes. E will make a good Calvin with his hair spiky (it'll be just the right length by Halloween) and I have his whole outfit!

This was my first stuffed animal, and probably my last. It was a pain, especially sewing the fleece and doing the hand-sewn bits. I used a little help from here and here. I love him though, and now I just have to hide him until Halloween! E is already trying to pick the eyes off!

School Blog

I've decided to create a school blog. I have benefited so much from other teachers out there, so I want to make it easier and have it all in one place. The link is: http://megteachesthird.blogspot.com
