Big Boy Bed

Cam found this bed frame for free, so he sanded it down (see first picture) and then we mixed a few stain colors to get a dark cherry type of finish that would match the dresser E has. After a few coats of stain, and a few coats of polyurethane, the bed was finally ready for the big boy. He has done really well with the transition, and I'm really pleased with how the bed turned out!

Nativity Board

I saw the vinyl for this project on sale on a blog, and I ordered a few sets. She had used it for separate pieces for stocking holders, but I wanted to use it for one big board. I love how they turned out - if I had only ordered a few more!

It was a very quick project - stain the board, rub a candle on the edges, paint the board, sand to distress, put the vinyl on!
